The Challenge
In the aquaculture industry, the control of water temperature is critical for the health and growth of fish such as wrasse. The client faced challenges in keeping the water at a consistently low temperature, which is necessary for optimal breeding of this species.
The Solution
Energy Rent provided a 170kW air-cooled ice water machine, equipped with remote monitoring, to provide precise and reliable cooling of the process water. The machine was connected to the breeding system via 4 x 10m 2" hose sets, ensuring efficient distribution of the chilled water to the different pools where the wrasse are held.
The Result
The installed cooling solution enabled continuous and even regulation of the water temperature, which was crucial to support healthy growth and development of the wrasse. The remote monitoring technology allowed for precise temperature control and quick response to any deviations, ensuring optimal operation and minimal risk of temperature-related problems.
