The Challenge
A fish farm for smolt was faced with a critical situation when a leakage in the condenser of their heat pump was discovered, threatening to reduce the water temperature critically and potentially affect the smolt's survival and growth. A quick and efficient solution was needed to ensure continuous and stable heating of the water.
The Solution
Energy Rent delivered and installed a mobile heating center of 750kW, along with necessary pumps, a titanium heat exchanger and hoses to integrate the solution with the existing heating system at the fish farm. The mobile heating center was put into operation immediately to restore and maintain the necessary water temperature, minimizing the risk of animal welfare problems.
