Maintaining a cool temperature in a large food warehouse while the refrigeration system was repaired. One of Norway's largest food suppliers discovered a serious fault in its refrigeration system and needed to have it repaired. This necessitated a temporary cooling solution to keep the food cool during the repair work.
The Solution
The customer turned to Energy Rent for help in finding a temporary cooling solution for their food storage. Energy Rent was able to supply a 150 kW chiller that kept the warehouse at -10°C. In addition, we supplied a 200 kVA generator, a 1000 liter buffer tank, two pumps and propylene glycol. Energy Rent was able to deliver all the equipment within 2 hours of ordering.
The Result
The food stayed cool and the repair work went smoothly.
