Heat exchanger rental for temporary heating, cooling and system separation

We rent out mobile plate heat exchangers in titanium and 316 stainless steel – gasketed and brazed – ready for immediate delivery. Our units handle −20 to +160 °C and up to 30 bar, with heating capacities up to 1,000 kW and cooling capacities up to 500 kW per unit. Most fit on a standard European pallet and can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Every unit is delivered complete with couplings, transitions and hoses, and we can add a shunt to hit the exact temperatures you need.

Emergency heat exchanger rental: if a heat exchanger fails, we size a replacement from our rental fleet and add shunts and accessories to match your parameters – ready for dispatch at short notice.

When to rent a heat exchanger

• Temporary replacement while your own heat exchanger is cleaned, tested or repaired
• Hydraulic separation between two systems, or pressure relief
• Heating or cooling of seawater, brackish water and freshwater in aquaculture
• Test rigs and commissioning that need precise temperatures
• Emergency heat transfer when a permanent unit fails

Sized for your process

Cost and performance depend above all on LMTD – the temperature difference across the exchanger. We size each unit with dedicated software, based on capacity, temperatures, surface area, pressure drop and the media involved, so you get the smallest unit that does the job.

The choice of fluid matters too. In the food industry, non-toxic propylene glycol becomes viscous at low temperatures, which raises pressure drop and reduces performance. With non-toxic Kilfrost ALV, a much smaller exchanger can often do the same job.

Cleaning while your unit is out of service

While your own heat exchanger is out of service, we can also clean it. Using mobile CIP equipment, we recently restored two large seawater heat exchangers that had lost heat transfer capacity.
